Synopsis

Shuuji Maruyama, a factory worker, begins frequently arriving late to work. This is due to the shock of witnessing his girlfriend Sanae, who works at the same factory, being assaulted by thugs in front of him. Since that day, Shuuji has been keeping his distance from Sanae.

One Saturday morning, Sanae announces she’s returning to Aomori. Worried about her, Keiko, a coworker, tells Shuuji to come to her room after work. Sanae is waiting there, but Shuuji hesitates and gives an evasive response. Then, something happens…
