Synopsis
This is a true story from a certain company.
Upon joining, new employees were told their expected annual salary during orientation – monthly pay multiplied by 12 months plus bonuses.
I believed that promise and worked hard. Despite enduring power harassment, sexual harassment, and moral harassment at this outdated, abusive company, I persisted. With minimal salary, no job prospects, and no time for job hunting, I had no choice but to work desperately.
My plan was to save every bonus and steal every skill I could to transfer to a white company as quickly as possible.
Mori Hinako from HR was my only salvation – young, beautiful, kind, and the only comfort in this toxic environment. Admired by seniors, trusted by juniors, and respected by management.
Then suddenly, one week before the bonus was scheduled for the 30th, an email arrived from Mori Hinako.
It announced: “Summer bonus payment date: June 30th. *Only employees hired before March 31, 2023 are eligible.”
What? New graduates were supposed to get bonuses!
One week before bonus day, they changed the rules? This must be intentional.
