The hardline military faction, led by a general who champions an unyielding Fereshuelle and absolute control of the colonial territories, has seized power. The royal family and pro-kingdom nobility have been arrested and transported to detention facilities.

Laul Sharl, a military specialist in interrogation, torture, and conditioning—a figure embodying the dark underbelly of the military apparatus—has been summoned before the general. His mission: the “re-education” of the royal family.
