[Review by Yamamoto Daisuke] Just when you thought the defeated exorcist miko was done for, volume 2 arrives—absolutely legendary! The tentacle × miko combination is peak, and watching the supposedly sacred shrine maiden submit to an alien race is absolutely gripping. Maki’s work here excels in the synchronization between scenario and art. The careful depiction of the miko’s changing reactions as she’s gradually cornered is the real highlight. The psychological portrayal of her confusion and descent from her duty to protect her chastity into the pleasure of liberation actually works as character development. As a continuation of the previous work, this volume adds confinement elements, and the desperation of an inescapable situation is intense. The art style is consistent and polished—true to this artist’s high rankings on HNT, with meticulous effect work. The whole vore scene is spectacular. This is definitely a deep rabbit hole for true fans. HNT also carries plenty of tentacle works exploring similar alien relationships.
