Notice This Love [Digital Deluxe Edition]

Editorial Review

Danimaru’s debut collection sits comfortably within the expanding romantic comedy-adjacent corner of adult manga, where genuine emotional vulnerability meets straightforward physical desire. Rather than the transactional sex comedy formula that dominates much of the space, this work hinges on the appeal of earnest romantic initiative—the junior explicitly naming her feelings before crossing into physical territory. It’s a tonal choice that’s become increasingly popular as the doujinshi market matures.

What distinguishes this collection is its focus on female agency and emotional directness. Tsujinaka isn’t presented as a temptress or reluctant participant; she’s the architect of the scenario, leveraging the senior’s vulnerable post-breakup state with disarming honesty. “If you don’t have a girlfriend, it’s okay to love me with all your heart, right?” reads less like seduction and more like a proposition—messy, slightly presumptuous, but grounded in actual feeling. The additional stories promise thematic consistency around “adorable heroines consumed by desire,” suggesting Danimaru favors heroines with agency and clear motivations rather than passive archetypes. The Digital Deluxe exclusive afterstory deepens this investment, rewarding collectors with continuation rather than mere bonus content.

The Comic Antherium pedigree signals production quality and editorial curation; this isn’t raw debut work but a polished collection from an artist already vetted by a respected anthology platform. Aesthetically, though the synopsis doesn’t detail linework or composition, the emphasis on “sweet romantic moments” suggests attention to character expression and emotional beat-setting alongside explicit content—a balance many doujinshi artists neglect.

This collection will resonate most with readers seeking adult manga that treats romantic feelings and physical desire as genuinely coexistent rather than contradictory, where the woman’s perspective drives narrative momentum. For that demographic, Danimaru’s earnest approach feels like a genuine alternative to the market’s default register.

A refreshingly straightforward debut that trusts its premise and characters.
