Summary
Schoolgirl Utako was worried. She just got fired from her part time job, and really isn’t feeling like it’s “the best time of her life” like everybody always says. How much fun can someone have with just 6 yen to their name, anyway? How many grains of rice is that anyway, she wondered hungrily…
But one day her friend told her about a new job. She wasn’t going to take it at first, but the money was just too good! And that’s how a normal, every day gal became the new maid at Marugaoka Manor, and was introduced to a world she’d have otherwise never known.
