Synopsis

The main game “Tale of Star Fragments: Mechanism Version” is now on sale at DLsite. Along with this release, the prologue “Tale of Star Fragments: Fragment Version” is available for free. A girl is stranded on a broken star fragment with no means of escape or contact. However, a singular point exists where interference from a parallel world is possible. The player, standing at this point and equipped with a VR device that allows glimpsing other worlds, can access the parallel dimension and establish mutual recognition with the girl. Together, they solve puzzles to restore the star’s power and achieve escape. The game design cleverly converts the VR system’s limitations—poor intuition outside the visual field—into engaging gameplay by having the heroine guide the player through eye contact. This approach eliminates immersion-breaking system constraints through clever world-building integration.
