~STORY~
In an unnamed prefecture, Himeno Nemuriko—a shrine maiden descendant—unknowingly recreates an ancient ritual at an abandoned shrine, invoking the blessing of “Kinshi-sama,” a deity housed within the Golden Thread Shrine.
The red thread of fate binds her to a grotesque earth deity dwelling in the forest. Enslaved by this crimson bond, Nemuriko surrenders her virginity and becomes pregnant.
Awakening to her reality, she is abducted to a dark cave deep within the forest, where she spends a honeymoon of despair and births an abomination.

Editorial Review
This is a niche entrant in the folklore-horror breeding subgenre, where Japanese supernatural mythology becomes a vehicle for transformation and forced reproductive content. The space is narrow but devoted; *Kinonemuriko* positions itself firmly within that tradition rather than attempting mainstream crossover appeal.
The work’s distinctive strength lies in its Live2D animation implementation—looping sequences that emphasize physical detail and continuous motion rather than static frames. Combined with the occult mind-control framing, this creates a specific aesthetic: the heroine’s degradation is rendered as visually persistent rather than episodic. The interspecies and body transformation tags operate as the narrative’s true engine; pregnancy isn’t incidental but the explicit mechanism of the protagonist’s metamorphosis into something non-human. The shrine maiden setup—a descendant of a fertility deity—provides folkloric legitimacy to what is fundamentally a premise about biological assimilation into an inhuman ecosystem. Few works in this category attempt to narrativize the transformation as thoroughly as the synopsis suggests here.
The horror framing is worth noting. Rather than pure fantasy erotica, this leans into body horror and existential violation. The heroine’s “consumption by endless pleasure” while transforming reads as psychological deterioration as much as physical change, positioning the work closer to weird fiction than straightforward adult content.
This appeals specifically to readers invested in transformation fetishism with occult/folklore aesthetics and those comfortable with horror-adjacent framing of sexual content. Mainstream adult game audiences seeking conventional romance or power-fantasy scenarios should redirect entirely.
A technically competent execution of a difficult subgenre premise—transformation-as-narrative-endpoint rather than sidequest. Exactly what its target audience came for.
