Prologue:

Yasuo is a third-year student living in Tokyo. Due to his reserved and timid nature, he’s had almost no interaction with girls throughout his life, and on top of that, he’s in the middle of busy entrance exam preparations.

After years of living alone with his mother, Yasuo was genuinely happy when she found a remarriage partner. They plan to register their marriage first without holding a wedding ceremony for now.

Following the marriage registration, Yasuo and his mother began moving preparations. For Yasuo, who has lived an ordinary life, this marks a turning point.

Just before summer break, after the school closing ceremony, Yasuo says goodbye to his classmates and rushes home. Today is the long-awaited moving day.

His new home is located in a rural town with a population of about 800 people. His mother’s new husband has a daughter who is currently a second-year student at a girls’ academy. She will be his stepsister—a relationship completely new to him. Yasuo’s heart swells with anticipation.
