Sudou Gen, a small-time real estate mogul, discovered Lydia’s English lessons on a local services website and decided to book a session. Impressed by her appearance, Gen uses his time and money to make his move.

An ordinary university student who met Lydia during a year-long study abroad in England and married her on the spot. Having no particular strengths, he works at a low-paying company and started a delivery job to supplement income due to economic downturn. He struggles with rent for their 3-bedroom apartment near the entertainment district.
