Cave exploration where you lose track of where you are after leaving battle…
This RPG project addresses some of those inconvenient design elements that don’t quite match my preferences.
To minimize scene transitions and aim for smooth gameplay, I’ve utilized RPG Maker XP’s maximum map creation size to represent all locations on a single map.
Moving from town to grassland, or grassland to cave—all transitions are seamless with no scene changes, creating a vast, unified field.
Gameplay is largely open and free-form. You can explore the world at your leisure, using the glow of Demon Fragment Stones as clues to rescue princesses held by the Demon King, search for legendary equipment, or even rush straight to the final boss.
Combat occurs by swinging your sword near enemies that roam the field, or by using magic spells you learn as you progress.
Reaching 0 HP results in a game over, so frequent saving is recommended.
Playtime is approximately 2-3 hours for a normal playthrough.
