~Plot~

When I was a child, there was someone I loved dearly.

We promised each other we would get married in the future.

Then war ravaged our town.

Our parents were lost, and both she and I were taken in by relatives in different towns.

Ten years later.

Following my usual wandering habit, I set out on a journey.

The front lines. A place where battle still rages.

My travel permit only lasts three days. Stay longer and you’ll be thrown in prison or killed as a suspicious person—no complaints allowed.

And there, in that place, was her.

Covered in scars across her entire body, yet despite being a girl, she had burned herself with revenge.

That’s this story.
