■This work is a black and white manga depicting a protagonist who committed misconduct at his company in the past. Unable to resist his boss who uses this as blackmail material, he becomes aware that his boss is approaching his beloved wife with ulterior motives. Yet he chooses to turn a blind eye to his boss’s advances, and his precious wife is gradually taken from him.

■(Brief Synopsis)

Protagonist Kohashi Hironori was devoted to his work, aiming for promotion to support his wife Chiaki, who was pregnant at the time. He worked so desperately that he even brought home confidential data that should never have left the office.

However, one day Hironori loses the USB drive containing this critical data. Worse, he reports nothing to his boss or colleagues and conceals the truth.

But his boss, Hiruma, discovers what happened and begins blackmailing Hironori. Hiruma’s demand is simple: “Turn a blind eye to me approaching Chiaki.”

Hironori finds this demand unacceptable and refuses. But Hiruma eventually declares to Hironori, “I’m going to meet Chiaki.” Paralyzed by fear of his misconduct being exposed, Hironori cannot stop him.

Afterward, Chiaki shows no obvious changes. Hironori interprets this as “Chiaki must have rejected Hiruma’s advances, so nothing happened” and overlooks the situation without further investigation.

But reality is far harsher than he imagined.

From that day forward, Chiaki begins to change gradually but steadily. Transforming into a different version of herself—one only Hiruma knows…
