Maiden’s Sword & Secret Concerto [DL Edition]

Synopsis

Utsugi Hinata returns to Japan after a year of studying Western fencing abroad, only to be greeted at the airport by a woman named Nina Clione. Nina escorts him to a prestigious academy where he witnesses an extraordinary sight: beautiful maidens clad in gleaming armor, clashing swords in brilliant sparks. “That’s ‘Combat Cadenza’—a duel between knights,” Nina explains. She reveals herself as the academy’s director and suggests Hinata teach swordsmanship there.

Eager to experience Combat Cadenza firsthand, Hinata is shocked to discover his “armor” is actually a rather risqué bodysuit. Forced into drag with a wig, he wields a magically projected sword in the academy’s Theater and defeats the reigning champion knight.

“Who is this student?!” the spectators cry out. Nina announces him as “Usui Haruhina, a second-year Knight Cultivation student and new assistant instructor!” Bewildered by this declaration he never agreed to, Hinata—now Haruhina—begins a double life as both staff and student at this academy for maidens.

Thus begins a tumultuous cross-dressing adventure.
