Synopsis

In the demon-haunted capital, ashes scatter to dust. Protagonist Kumon Katsuki struggles with his inability to empathize with others, yet finds solace in the kindness of his tolerant best friend Mineyuki and his apartment manager Hanawa. Living a peaceful student life, mysterious heroines begin appearing before him one after another. At first bewildered by their cryptic behavior, he soon witnesses them engaged in desperate battles. They are non-human beings—supernatural entities possessing the culture and values of another world. Katsuki is inexorably drawn into conflict with these otherworldly creatures. As he uncovers the mysteries of his own strange fate and the conspiracies surrounding it, his journey transforms into something far greater.
