STORY:
In the sword and sorcery world of Feaburn, dragons reign at the top of the food chain. The Seven Draconic Kings rule this realm, yet even they bow to one being—the Ancient Dragon, the world’s strongest creature and their master: Marmalidia Dot Feaburn.
The Seven Kings revered the Ancient Dragon as a divine entity. But their excessive worship caused chaos—whenever she went out, entire nations would celebrate, and people began making pilgrimages to her home.
“Honestly, it’s such a hassle…”
Seeking an escape from this, she decides to travel to another world on an impromptu vacation. There, she casually enters a cafe run by a tsundere maid, and this encounter changes her fate forever.
“You’re late, Master!”
“Huh…? (What’s with this disrespectful maid… burn her?)”
Thus begins her unexpected journey at a con cafe, where everything is fresh, novel, and brand new!
Editorial Review
Dora Con Cafe positions itself as a lighthearted fantasy romance visual novel centered on cohabitation dynamics rather than conquest narratives. In a landscape increasingly saturated with power-fantasy premises, this work’s choice to anchor its appeal around domestic comedy and character interaction signals a deliberate pivot toward slice-of-life appeal within the adult game space.
The premise—an ancient dragon protagonist overwhelmed by unwanted divine worship, seeking refuge through cohabitation with ordinary inhabitants—inverts typical fantasy hierarchies in ways that generate immediate comedic potential. By pairing a world-ending entity with mundane domestic situations, the work leverages contrast as its narrative engine. The non-human protagonist tag combined with cohabitation and romance suggests the developer is committed to exploring how power differentials dissolve through everyday routine. The inclusion of system voice packs as an exclusive bonus indicates production values beyond baseline, with voice work treated as a selling point rather than afterthought.
The busty characters tag, paired with comedy, suggests fanservice deployed through humor rather than narrative obstruction—a distinction that matters considerably for pacing and audience retention in longer-form visual novels. The fantasy setting provides thematic coherence for the non-human element without requiring speculative sci-fi worldbuilding.
This will resonate most strongly with players who prioritize character charm and relationship development over high-stakes conflict, and who appreciate non-human love interests approached with genuine personality rather than exotic aesthetics alone. The sequel announcement signals franchise momentum, which typically indicates the first entry succeeded in establishing compelling character chemistry.
A surprisingly effective subversion of power-fantasy tropes that trades apocalyptic stakes for the genuine comedy of a world-ending being learning to coexist with mortals. Whether that appeals depends entirely on your tolerance for domestic hijinks over dramatic narrative momentum.
