Mishima Reika is a rare exorcist living in the modern day.
She boasts an impressive track record of solving numerous difficult cases involving paranormal phenomena. In particular, she gained tremendous trust from the Metropolitan Police Department after solving a kidnapping case that occurred in the past.
With her sharp insight and extraordinary abilities, she is known as “the last resort,” and requests continue to pour in from all directions.
Then, a new request arrives from the Metropolitan Police Department.
They seek her help in solving a series of increasingly brutal violent crimes that have skyrocketed in recent years.
This case has yielded few clues through normal investigation and has become a headache for the police organization. The reward offered for taking the job is an extraordinary 200 million yen.
Confounded by these exorbitant terms, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner nonetheless felt compelled to accept the request to avoid public backlash.
And so, Mishima Reika sets out once more. All eyes are on how she will resolve this unprecedented request.
