Synopsis

“A short and fleeting life, I suppose…”

Caught in sudden rain, Gouda finds himself taking an unfamiliar shortcut through a midnight park—a place he’d normally never venture.

Overtime shifts are standard. Coming home past midnight is routine. Transferring jobs seems pointless without real credentials or achievements. And now he’s soaked through. All he wants is rest.

That’s when he meets Kama Mitsumi, a runaway girl.

He only meant to let her stay one night. But somehow, she’s decided to move in permanently.

And so begins their strange cohabitation…

A runaway girl encountered in the rain-soaked park late one night. She managed to talk her way into staying, and has made herself completely at home. Though she appears carefree, she’s surprisingly pure-hearted with little experience around men.

A salaryman trapped in a black company. He believes his life has been nothing but misery.
