▼For those using Windows 7 or Windows Vista who experience startup issues…
Try switching your default Japanese input system from Office IME to Microsoft IME.
(1) Right-click on the IME language bar and click [Settings]!
(2) In the [General] tab of the [Text Services and Input Languages] dialog box, click the [Add] button!
(3) In the [Add Input Language] dialog, click [Japanese (Japan)] and check the box for [Microsoft IME] under [Keyboard]! Then click [OK]!
(4) From the [Default Language] dropdown list, select [Japanese (Japan) – Microsoft IME] and click [OK]!
(5) Restart your computer! (You might not need to in some cases)
(6) If the language bar has changed to Windows 7 or Windows Vista’s built-in Microsoft IME, you’re all set!
