Synopsis

Ayato Hirose lost his mother years ago and lives alone with his father. When his father suddenly has to go on a two-month overseas business trip during summer vacation, Ayato will be left to fend for himself. Worried about his son, his father consults with Rinko Shinomiya, a neighbor’s wife, who recommends a unique housekeeping service.

But this isn’t an ordinary housekeeping agency—it’s a “Mama Substitute Service” where registered women come as a “mama” to handle household chores and daily care during the contract period.

It turns out that Rinko, who officially arrives as Ayato’s “mama,” is actually registered with the service. She’s soon joined by Kiyoko, a childhood friend who also wants to be Ayato’s mama, Kana the company president, and Tsumugi Niimi, a new staff member. Thus begins an intense and peculiar family life.
